Valveless, Variable Displacement, Reciprocating,Piston Fuel Pump Race Pump has been under development for 18 years by Howard Stewart. This is the first really new mechanical fuel pump design in more than 60 years engineered just for high-performance V8 engines. All others are an adaptation of an old universal design with many inherent pushrod/linkage design flaws. This simpler piston design is much smoother and reliable at higher revs. RacePump Flows enough for 2,500 horsepower! Reciprocating piston uses only 25 lbs. of pushrod force! The Edlelbrock conventional diaphragm high-performance pump requires 125 lbs!
Operates at a constant 4 to 15 PSI with Race Pumps pressure regulators, 50 PSI unregulated.
Absolutely no drop in fuel pressure throughout entire RPM range.
Gasoline, Methanol, E85
Circle Track, Drag Racing, Marine and Street Ideal for blow-through turbo supercharger systems with our new RacePump boost sensitive Regulator
Patent Pending variable displacement design accommodates 200-2500hp! RacePump only flows as much fuel as the engine requires. No diaphragm, valves, rocker arm, block plate or gaskets
RacePump should last for years, but it can be damaged by junk in the fuel line. It is rebuildable with a $10.00 kit.
Smaller size means increased chassis clearance. This is important in oval racing because the Chevy's pump placement makes it a target when contact is made with the wall.
Hardcoated 6061-T6 billet aluminum with stainless steel internal parts.
Comes with a -8 outlet and -8 and -10 AN fittings. Fitting positioning makes it easier to route fuel lines away from the exhaust
Weighs only 1.1 lbs. (Edelbrock weighs 3.6 lbs) Patent Pending
Race Pump 200 to 2,500 horsepower @ 25 lbs pushrod force 7-15 PSI with Race Pumps regulator, 50 PSI unregulated Weighs 1.1 pounds
Conventional Edelbrock Pump 125 lbs pushrod force Weighs 3.6 lbs.
Price starts at $289.99
RacePump for Electronic Fuel Injection
45 - 75 PSI fuel pressure with Race Pumps regulator. 150 PSI unregulated. Great for EFI conversions on older cars when block has provision for mechanical pump No return line or in-tank pump needed No fuel tank modifications No extra circuit or wiring needed for electric fuel injection fuel pump RacePump maintains fuel pressure with the engine off for easier starting

NEW! RacePumps own Fuel Pressure Regulators Lightweight ceramic valve and large inlet and outlets flow the fuel you need for big horsepower! • The only regulator designed for use with the Race Pump piston fuel pump: • Smooth, steady fuel pressure throughout the RPM range • Supports up to 2,500 horsepower • 1/2" NPT inlet with two 3/8" NPT outlets • Lightweight ceramic valve for smoother fuel pressure • Hard anodized billet aluminum housing • Stainless steel components • Methanol and gasoline compatible • 7-15 PSI and 45-75 PSI models • May be vacuum referenced to reduce idle and high RPM off throttle pressure 1:1 with intake vacuum • Optional idle bleed to reduce idle pressure • Optional boost reference to increase fuel pressure 1:1 with boost • Bolts direct to flat surface

Regulator 5010
(without idle bleed port)
•The Race Pumps fuel pressure
regulator installs between the fuel
pump and the carburetor.
•The lower port is 1/2" NPT, this is
the inlet from the fuel pump
•The side ports are 3/8" NPT, these
are outlet ports to the carburetor.
You may use just one or both of
these ports.
•The 1/8" barbed fitting is the vent
or vacuum reference port. A short
piece of 1/4" tubing may be routed
to an area that will not allow water
to get into the regulator
• The reference port may be routed
to the carburetor base plate or the
intake manifold. This will allow the
fuel pressure to be reduced 1:1 by
the intake vacuum at idle and high
RPM off-throttle conditions.
• The socket head set screw on the
top of the regulator adjusts the fuel
pressure. Screwing it in increases
fuel pressure, out decreases fuel
pressure.
Regulator 5011
(with idle bleed port)
• All of the 5010 features apply plus:
• The -4 port on the side of the
regulator is the idle bleed. This line
must be returned to the fuel cell.
This reduces the fuel pressure at
idle by 1-4 PSI. It accepts a standard
Holley jet.
•The Race Pumps regulator damps
out the pulses normally seen in a
fuel system. This allows the
carburetor to idle at higher
pressures than fuel systems without
the Race Pumps regulator. You may
change the jet to adjust the idle
pressure, but you should not need
to go below 8 PSI
• After adjusting the idle pressure
with the changeable Holley jet, the
fuel pressure should then be set
with the engine running at 4,000
RPMs
Boost Reference
• The boost reference regulator has
a -3 bulkhead fitting that replaces
the pressure adjusting set screw.
The fitting has a jam nut so it can
be used for adjusting the fuel
pressure. The boost pressure line
attaches to the fitting.
