Street Performance and Competition Fuel
Filters
The POWERFLOW line of fuel filters covers the entire
range of filters for carbureted automotive
applications, with fuel injected models being
developed for the future. Many competitive filters are
supplied with various style ends; nipple style for slip
on hose, or various sizes of AN threads. This requires
extensive inventory on the part of retailers who
typically only stock one or two versions. The
Professional Products line of POWERFLOW Filters are
modular in design with each filter (other than our
Inline Street Filters) being supplied with pipe tapped
inlet and outlet ports. We also offer a line of
inexpensive adapter fittings which will allow the user
to adapt any of our filters to a wide variety of
applications and hose styles or sizes. In most cases,
the retail price of one of our filters and two adapter
fittings is still 35% to 50% less in cost than similar
competitive filters. POWERFLOW Fuel Filters are
available from a wide range of performance retailers.
Other manufacturer’s adapter fittings can be used
with our filters but are more expensive.
Our Competition line features pipe tapped inlet and
outlet ports in all models which permits the use of a
wide range of adapter fittings. Note that all our filters
feature Viton® seals and o-rings for the ultimate in
sealing.

on the flat side boss that will
allow the use of any type of
fabricated mounting bracket. Due

Competition+Plus Fuel
Filters
The Competition+Plus is our top-of-
the-line racing style filter and is also
perfectly suitable for street
applications. It is a larger size filter
(4.25” long x 2.75” diameter) and
utilizes a replaceable paper element
that is capable of filtering to 10
microns. It flows 130 GPH @ 7 PSIG
or 330 GPH @ 40 PSIG. It has an
extruded aluminum main housing
and features precision threaded and
Viton® “O”-ring sealed end caps,
also of aluminum. It has two tapped
holes to accept any type of fabri-
cated bracket. The inlet and outlet
ports are 1/2-NPT and we offer a
wide range of adapter fittings for it.
This filter is designed for carbureted
or injected applications using

great Competition Fuel Filter.
This filter is for those
enthusiasts who prefer a filter
with a replaceable paper element
rather than a washable screen
as found in our other street
filters. This filter features a
bright red painted die cast
aluminum top along with a high
quality chrome plated canister
and angle mounting bracket. The
button head cap screws holding
the bracket to the top are
stainless steel. The mounting
bracket is reversible in several
different ways which allows
multiple mounting arrangements.
This filter will flow up to 90 GPH
at 7 PSIG and filters to as fine as
10 microns.

Hi-Tech Fuel Filter
The Hi-Tech Fuel Filter is
intended for applications where
the utlimate in appearance and
performance is desired in a high
performance street filter. Larger
(3” long x 2” diameter) than the
Inline Performance Filter, shown
above left, the Hi-Tech filter uses
two stainless filtering screens.
One is a coarse pre-filter to
capture the larger par- ticles,
and then a finer screen to get
the smaller ones. The screens
are washable in solvent but
should be replaced over time
with our inexpensive
replacement element kit. This
filter will flow up to 150 GPH at 7
PSIG and filters to as fine as 10
microns. It is available in either a
bright red/blue anodized finish or
a highly polished show finish.
The filter comes with a stainless
steel mounting bracket that is
attached to the filter with
stainless button head screws.
This is our top-of- the-line street
